Summer Sizzler - New release charms!
We would like to celebrate the beginning of summer with the introduction of our new Summer range.
The "Kiwiana" collection includes the following sterling silver charms: The Tomato Sauce Bottle, The Aeroplane, The Chopper, The Whare (Meeting House), and Burts Bike (Fastest Indian).
The "Westland" Collection which includes, three new Murano Glass charms: representing Fox Glacier, Franz Josef and Greymouth. And a sterling silver charm called The Coal Carriage. (This collection makes a fitting tribute to the Pike River Mining Tragedy)

The Simply New Zealand Christchurch store is now open at the "restart" zone, Cashel Street, Christchurch.
Great to see another retailer open again after the devastating earthquake.
Introducing the Evolve New Zealand 2011 Spring Collection!
Evolve New Zealand would like to celebrate the beginning of spring with our wonderful collection of new charms.
We are pround to be launching our 2011 Evolve New Zeland collection of Aotearoa inspired glass and silver charms. The unique designs reflect the essence of New Zealand and each design carries significant meaning.
The new Murano glass colours reflect the beautiful colours of the changing seasons in our wonderful country as well as combining beautifully with our exisiting range.
The new selection of silver charms have been designed with the help of a young up and coming local designer.
One of the charms we wish to make special mention of is the new Christchurch Murano glass charm. The inspiration behind this is as follows; The Avon River follows a meandering course into the heart of Christchurch and is a familiar image for this, the Garden City. Depicted in this charm by its steely blue weave, the Avon River holds a special place in the heart of Cantabrians. A staunch red with a whisper of black represents the region’s sporting colours, and of Cantabrians’ strength and courage.

What has happened in your life that has inspired a charm purchase? Every Evolve New Zealand charm tells a story...
I "sort of" found Evolve about 6 months ago and then when I was at Toti (love that store) in Devonport purchased a bracelet - I am a 5th generation New Zealander on my pakeha mother's side and have Maori blood on my father's side and love a...nything with a strong New Zealand cultural sense and Evolve does JUST that - the journey on looking at choosing the charms is a journey of ones ancestors/families lives - my grandmother was born in Whanganui so I love that charm, my parents meet on Rangitoto so I love that charm and on it goes. Thank you people at Evolve for creating this wonderful concept - a tradition should be started where young girls are given these bracelets when they turn 1 or start school or graduate from school or for acheivements be they big or small.
I grew up in Hawaii (even though I am a New Zealander) and Hawaiian bracelets are an important tradition in terms of gifts for graduations, birthdays etc. etc. - Evolve can "evolve" into that sort of tradition - we need more traditions in New Zealand to celebrate passages and I can't think of a nicer way. I am thrilled I bought a bracelet and now my whanau will have no problem in what to choose for my birthday/Christmas gifts - I feel honoured to have an Evolve bracelet - hard to explain but it is a spiritual, sacred experience with choosing the charms etc. It is so important and I have not chosen any charms yet but when I do it will be based on journies and whanau - Kia Ora to Evolve.
